A native of Huntington Beach, ShezAnAgent started out in an all-girl punk band before exploring the world of hip-hop production. Just one year into her journey in the new genre, she’s already making waves—earning a Top 10 spot on Next Music Star, and currently holding her ground in the Top 15 of America’s Next Top Hitmaker. These achievements are only the beginning for an artist who refuses to play by outdated industry rules.

“I want people to know you don’t have to sell your soul or your body to make music,” says ShezAnAgent. “Technology has changed everything. Anyone with a voice and a vision can release music now. We need more good music, and we need artists to lift each other up—not compete or exploit.”
Challenges she’s faced
Her journey, however, hasn’t come without serious obstacles. After her music was banned in her home and she was kicked out by her mother-in-law, ShezAnAgent endured homelessness, all while continuing to write, record, and release music. “Music was the only thing I had during that time,” she says. “It kept me going.” With the support of close friends and collaborators like Ferry Boy Beats and Meek Rosez, she overcame her technical struggles and continued to move forward with purpose.

“I’m not trying to be liked by everyone. My music isn’t for everyone—and that’s okay. If a few people connect with what I’m saying, that’s enough for me,” she explains. Her songs carry subtle messages of perseverance, empowerment, and raw truth, inviting listeners into a deeply personal, unfiltered world.
